Debi has a decade of experience as an award winning radio present= er; six years spent broadcasting to some of the world's most disaster h= it regions, including flood-prone Mozambique. During this time she set = up a charitable fund which sent aid to Africa.
Prior to this Deb= i spent some years with West Midlands Police before becoming a successf= ul managing director. As chairperson for a Worcester Retailers Associat= ion, she liaised with Hereford and Worcester County Council and the med= ia on issues such as traffic management.
An associate of the Em= ergency Planning Society and a trained first aider, in her spare time D= ebi is studying for a degree in Social Science. She attributes her expe= rience with survival equipment and emergency gear to years spent trekki= ng in adverse conditions with a 2 stone rucksack on her back for the Du= ke of Edinburgh Award Scheme!
