 We hope you like our newly designed website. Like the last one we have tried wherever possible to minimise the environmental impact, so as well as making it carbon neutral courtesy of CoCo, we have used open-source software and set the whole thing up 'in house'.
It has taken a few weeks and our technical staff have been cussing and smiling in equal measure, but we think it may well have been worth it! The new website not only looks better, hopefully it will enhance your experience. Check out the weblinks and our news feeds for up to the minute resilience and emergency info. You can chaeck local and regional resilience news, current threat levels and even take a look at the FEMA video... We have saved on meetings, server time, office hours and energy just by designing the whole thing ourselves (with the help of those nice Joomla people). Please make sure that you leave your thoughts on our products and services because we are committed to change as long as it is for the better. |
